japan candy box giveaway

Japan Candy box has arrived at my door and I am excited to share its opening it with you. This time, I ordered a box full of Asian candy. Let’s begin seeing what is in the month’s box and please stay tuned because I have an awesome giveaway at the end of this post, where you can win a package with 8-10 Japanese full-size candies.

I ordered the February 2016 box, which contained 10 items. The first product is represented by these delicious biscuits that are filled with milk. They have a Koala design and are very cute. They are called Koala March Milk Chocolate Biscuits.

Next item is the tasty famous Pocky by Glico. This variation is with strawberry. They are delicious sticks covered in chocolate. I love them! The sticks are crunchy and they make an interesting contrast with the soft chocolate.

The third product is a sweet grape flavored candy called ‘ Coris Grape & Soda Soft Candy‘. The center has soda flavor and the outer part has grape flavor. An interesting combination. Not to mention that the grape character is so adorable!

The forth candy is one with a great packaging that kids (and not only) will love, with a very famous character.  Pikachu Biscuit Sticks are amazing! Inside you will find delicious sticks covered in chocolate with tiny pieces of biscuits. Yumm!!

Continuing the cute characters series, the following candy is featuring Rilakkuma, adorable!!! I also love love love the packaging and the bear is so cute in the astronaut costume.

Inside this cute packaging are corn puffs covered in strawberry chocolate. This surprising flavor association is really interesting., however it might not be for everyone’s tastes.

The 6th item is another well known character, Hello Kitty. I got the little box with matcha flavor. This sweet is called Hello Kitty Soft Candy.

The doughnut shaped sweets are very cute. I keep using this word through this Japan Candy box review, but oh it fits so well: cute cute cute. This Coris Whistle Soda Candy tastes nice (soda) and it can be fun for kids, as you can whistle with it. Cool idea! Now that is what I call playing with food!

Candy kits are interesting, so I was glad that the box included the Coris Horadekita DIY Choco Banana Candy Kit. All the instructions are in the back and even if you don’t know Japanese, it is easy to follow the images. There are 6 small banana flavored candies that you must dip in chocolate and powder, all ingredients are provided.

The 9th item is a nice package of Hello Kitty Biscuits featuring Sanrio characters. Again, I really like the bright packaging. The biscuits taste ok. Hello Kitty Biscuit review

Last but not least, is this Lotte Kawarinbo Lollipop. It has cool flavors and when combined it gives a muscat taste. And it has another surprising tastes, like the soda flavored stick!

As a conclusion, I am happy with my Japan Candy order. Of all 10 items, I honestly loved 8 of them and I would buy those again. The Hello Kitty biscuits and the corn puffs are just ok, however I would not buy those 2 separately. I think that 8 out of 10 is a great outcome for an unboxing. I will order again as I am satisfied overall of the box. Plus, every month is different, so this adds to the excitement factor.
