Hi dear readers, do you know what mistakes not to make in styling a blue tulips skirt (or a blue skirt with another large flower print)?
Blue tulips skirt
In today’s post I thought to talk about items that rarely get style tips, even if there are people that own such pretty things. Maybe you own a blue tulips skirt too (or a blue skirt with another large flower print) so please keep reading. You will not want to miss the items I have added to create a beautiful outfit around this skirt.

How to start styling the skirt:
Styling a black skirt that has large blue flowers can be done by adding a blouse or a tank top in either black or the color of the flowers. Matching two different prints is hard so I recommend choosing a simple item. Do not make the mistake of adding multiple prints. This will allow the skirt to be the focus of the outfit.
Going from that element, we can continue to get the shoes in the same color of the top or in black. For this outfit, white sandals would be nice too, since there are some light tones in the floral print. Keep in mind that we are going for a simple but elegant look.
The accessories must match the overall tone of this ootd. I have chosen silver, as the colors in the skirt are quite towards the cold side.
The handbag is an element that links with the black background of the skirt and the watch. As you have noticed, blue is beautifully emphasized by black. This is why two toned outfits compliment each other better than an all blue one, making each pieces stand out.
Please keep in mind all these tips next time you want to wear your floral skirt with large pattern. And if you don’t own one, now you don’t have any excuse not to.
